In boys' play, Kenny Sweeney began his senior singles campaign with a hard-fought 8-4 win. Sophomore Zackery Beshears competed well in singles, but fell just short in a 7-9 loss.
The number one boys doubles team, Auston Shown and Jonathan Mitchell, won their match 8-3. Jack Gaston and Micah Belue lost 6-8 in a close battle.
Senior Olivia Gaston won her first singles match of the season 8-0 as did Abigail Woodring 8-0.
Newcomer Leighton Haralson and veteran Amber Alzufari, both seniors, teamed up for their first doubles match and won easily 8-0. Junior Madie Pelt and senior Karli Fisher also won 8-0 in their doubles match.
